Vicki Shotbolt is the founder and CEO of Parent Zone, an organisation that works with schools, young people and parents to ensure families are able to navigate the challenges of the online world and benefit from all the opportunities it provides. An executive board member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety and co-chair of the UKCCIS Digital Resilience working group Vicki leads a team that reaches millions of families every year. Their Digital Schools Programme delivers an innovative resilience based digital curriculum working with schools around the world. Parent Zone created and distributes Digital Parenting magazine, delivering 1.5 million copies a year to schools free of charge. They also deliver Parent Info – the UK’s national newsfeed service for schools delivering information for parents via school websites on all of the issues caused or amplified by the internet. Vicki is a fellow of the RSA and regular commentator in the media.
