Jane Ragless

Jane has managed and taught within Further Education SEND for 20 years.
She is currently Deputy Head of Learning in Foundation Programmes at Chichester College, a provision that has achieved and maintained an outstanding grade for the past 5 years.
Jane has developed and implemented new working practices, encouraged and led new innovative teaching, learning and assessment processes for learners with SEND.
She has also been instrumental in the creation of a quality driven, robust RARPA process which is continually being developed reviewed and improved upon to be truly learner and destination-led.
This process also considers guidance from the new CIF, Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice and the Preparing for Adulthood programme.
Jane has introduced new high quality study programmes offering individualised programmes to meet learner’s specific needs.
She has also been a member of the Beacon Award winning Theatre Inc Company at Chichester College.
