Dan Beale has 15 years’ experience in FE with a relentless ambition to develop high quality teaching and learning in FE. He is currently an educational trainer and the Director of Teaching, Learning and Quality at an ‘Outstanding’ college. He has demonstrated measurable impact by raising standards of teaching, learning and assessment across a diverse provision leading to strong student outcomes.
Dan has worked with many colleges supporting with teaching and learning strategies, quality improvement planning and creating a digital curriculum. He has held many roles including Head of Department, Head of A levels and Pastoral Support, Teacher Trainer and Mentor/Coach. Dan has significantly improved value added data and high grades in both vocational and A level provision through creating a culture of high expectations, target setting and high quality teaching and learning. As current Director of Teaching, Learning and Quality, Dan is the Quality Nominee and Deputy Ofsted Nominee and is responsible for the success of the teaching and learning strategy.
