Alison Creedon

Alison is a Community Learning and Engagement manager at Morley College, London. She has over twenty five years’ experience of teaching English and literacy in a range of organisations including prisons, HE, FE and adult community learning.

Recently, Alison has managed a number of joint practice development projects designed to enhance the literacy and employability skills of hard-to-reach learners in the borough of Lambeth. One of these won an outstanding teaching and learning award in June 2015. She and her team are currently developing induction and starter activities to engage, motivate and inspire learners joining short community-based courses.

Alison is passionate about the power of community learning to transform lives by opening up new opportunities, unlocking potential and enhancing well being.
