As teachers our role needs to drastically adapt to ensure we provide our students with the best possible chance for their future. Given the internet, there is nothing our students cannot discover…independently. So I ask you…Is it fair to argue that the internet has become a pedagogy? As teachers, is it not better to facilitate and nurture a thirst for knowledge, rather than tell students what we think they should know? I believe this session will be popular as I will be discussing the need to inspire students to become autonomous in their learning experiences, whilst offering examples of practise.
