Skills 4

WYCC – collaborated on EU funding bids with a specific college leading & holding the contract. The model became unsustainable as core budgets were cut & colleges sought additional income streams. WYCC was developed as a joint venture to enable: -Central bidding vehicle -Identification of collaborative opportunities (research & sharing economic/skills data) -Shared strategic perspective to inform planning in mutual interest areas The JV symbolises the changes required to capture revenue & savings opportunities & ensure a managed pathway for growth. In the macro-environment of devolution, area reviews, policy reform etc. this session demonstrates successful partnership working.
