In 2016 over 150 people applied to speak or host a workshop at the FE Week Festival of Skills. We would love to be able to accept all applications. Sadly we only have a limited number of sessions available. Over 80 sessions took place at the Festival of Skills, in excess of 120 speakers contributing.

The content team, following feedback and surveys of attendees, have this year pulled together a series of themes which will run across this year’s Festival of Skills.

Themes for 2017 Festival of Skills

  • In the classroom – teaching and learning
  • Special Ed and SEN in FE
  • Ed TECH in Further Education
  • Apprenticeships
  • FE Funding, policy and research
  • College/provider Business Management
  • Future FE Leaders
  • Governance
